The Best in Area Grilling competition is BACK this year and we are stoked! With a total of 8 area restaurants competing, you'll get a great taste of some of the best food this region has to offer. Taking place on Sunday the 4th from 4-6 p.m. in the parking lot on the east end of Levee Park, tasters embark on a drinking journey that's too good to pass up. New this year at Big Muddy Brew 'N Que - Axe Throwing! What is Axe Throwing you say? It's exactly what you think it is! Driftless Axe is bringing the excitement of throwing axes/hatches at some big ol' targets. Whether channeling your inner lumberjack or throwing like a Viking, axe throwing is a fun and unique sport that's taking North America by storm!
Multiple throwing lanes of awesomeness will be open from 1 - 5PM. This activity is free and open to the public thanks to our generous sponsor - Farmers Insurance - Dave Jensen Agency.
Driftless Axe Throwing experiences are designed with your safety in mind. "Axe-perts" (training coaches) make throwing axes easy to learn. Stick your first target and you'll be hooked!

The ever-so-popular celebrity rib eating contest is back again this year! Eight local celebrities will duke it out to claim the title of "best rib eater in town." Janneke Sobeck, executive director of the YMCA, won the event in 2019 and will be back again so defend her title! The other 7 participants will be announced soon.

The Midwest's premier balloon artist will be bringing his renonwed balloon art and entertainment to kids at the Que this year! Don't miss an opportunity to see ear to ear smiles his creative work puts on kids faces.

Back again at the Que this year, The Magic of Isaiah has been wow-ing kids for years with his brilliant, entertaining, and interactive magic acts. You definitely don't want to miss him!

We've got quite a lineup of both local and regional acts performing at the Que this year! Saturday's performances feature local Winona indie-pop band Wheel of Fortune from 3-4 p.m., Minneapolis-based band Good Morning Bedlam, a high energy indie-folk trio, takes the stage from 5-6:30. From 7-10 La Crosse-based Dude Fresh brings their live rock party music to the stage, playing all your favorites from the 70s to today!
Sunday features local Winona rock and rollers The Heaping Spoonfuls from 5:30-7:30. The band closing out the weekend for the Que is Minneapolis-based Ready Freddie: A Queen Experience. We couldn't be more excited to have them at our event this year as September 5th is Freddy Mercury's birthday and they plan to bring their best playing all the classic Queen songs we've come to know and love!
**The Main Street Program and Chamber of Commerce are monitoring the updates to CDC Guidlines regarding COVID-19 and will be following their guidelines regarding outdoor events and gatherings.
