2021 BEST IN AREA GRILLING COMPETITION WINNERS
PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD
NOSH SCRATCH KITCHEN
NOSH Scratch Kitchen won the People's Choice Award for the Best in Area Grilling Competition this year down at the Big Muddy Brew 'n Que in Levee Park over Labor Day Weekend. NOSH partnered The Winona Family YMCA to serve their food and won over the crowd over with their Pork Belly Burnt Ends (served with collard green and bacon coulis, cornbread croutons, and dehydrated black bean powder).
MAIN STREETJUDGE'S AWARD
HEIRLOOM SEASONAL BISTRO
Heirloom Seasonal Bistro won the Main Street Judge's Award for the Best in Area Grilling Competition this year! Heirloom partnered Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center and won over the judge's hearts with their Southwest BBQ Truff Mac (smoked pork, Wisconsin cheddar, truff hot sauce, smoked corn, and sourdough breadcrumbs).
2021's judges were Winona Mayor Scott Sherman, Winona City Council Member Michelle Alexander, Leighton Broadcasting's Gabe Glidden, and Midwest Metal Products' Tracy Mueller.
